The Toue is in a way the ancestor of the green vehicle: made entirely of wood, it was often completely dismantled on arrival at its destination, and its wood was reused for various constructions. It gradually disappeared from the river landscape, a victim of modernization&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In 2011, the Toue makes its comeback, thanks to Canalous :<\/p>\n<p>This comfortable, all-wood cabin is an instant hit with holidaymakers. Docked or moored, holidaymakers embark for one or more nights on the water, in the heart of nature, just a few steps from the banks of the Loire.
