Just 2 hours from Paris, the village of Champagne is the ideal place to spend an extended weekend with the family. There are plenty of activities on offer for young and old alike. From a stroll through the vineyards and a visit to the legendary Champagne cellars, to a nature hike in the forest or by the river, or a family picnic on the grass.
On Sunday mornings, we organize a big egg hunt for your children in the heart of nature, in the park of the village of Champagne. A wonderful moment of magic and sharing with your children.
❤ Our favorite: The palm circuit set up by the tourist office of bar sur Aube, lets us discover this small medieval town in a fun way with a special children’s trail. Accessible on foot from the village of Champagne.
Easter weekend on the water in Toue village
The Toue village, on the Domaine des Demoiselles between Auvergne and Burgundy, is the perfect place for a family holiday in the heart of nature. Located right next to the Loire, it’s the most aquatic of our unusual villages. In addition to the gypsy caravans and magic cabins, the Toue village’s most unusual accommodations are the Toues Cabanées, floating cottages for 5 people, most of which are moored in the middle of the pond. You’ll have to get on a boat to get there. Your children will love it.
There’s no shortage of activities at Village Toue, including a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, hiking trails and bicycles, as well as fishing directly in the pond. Ideal if you want to introduce your children to no-kill fishing.
As in all Slowmoov villages over the Easter weekend, a big egg hunt is organized for children who have slept in the village.
