Holiday accommodation steeped in history
An Over-water Cabin (Toue Cabanée) is a wooden boat typical of the Loire Valley, which was once used for river transport. When it arrived at its destination, it was then recycled into housing. We therefore decided to redirect this key piece of river history to offer you an eco-responsible and 100% made in France comfy accommodation option!
The over-water cabin offers a high standard of living on board and has been designed as an unusual and original alternative to classic holiday accommodation. The warm wood interior combines privacy and an incredible view of the Monédières estate lake. Book now for a breath of fresh air!
A fully-equipped floating cabin
The over-water cabin is fully furnished and equipped to the same standard as a 4-star hotel room tourist accommodation. Its 25 m² wood interior is designed to host 5 people.
It has a double bed, a 2-person sofa bed and a single pull-out bed. The bathroom is fully-equipped and you’ll find everything you need in the kitchen if you want to make your meals there.
And to top it all off, there is a terrace on the deck where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of life on the water.
What is there to do during your holiday at the Monédières Village?
Come and enjoy some peace and quiet and a change of scenery in the stunning Corrèze countryside at the Monédières Village. There is also a heated pool and sauna for the ultimate relaxing stay. If you would rather discover the beautiful region of Limousin, you can rent some of our bicycles and electric bicycles. Set off to explore the plateau de Millevaches, or go and enjoy the nearby water sports centre!
