The foudre is a large-capacity barrel originally used to store local Nuits Saint Georges wines. So it’s the perfect option for a romantic night’s sleep after a day exploring our beautiful wine region!

This quirky, original accommodation lets you enjoy the cosy comfort of a charming gîte that’s out of the ordinary. We’ve specially designed it to provide all the comforts you need for a short stay.

What you’ll find on board

The lightning bolt’s interior takes the form of a 6m² bedroom, ideal for a couple. Its rounded curves accommodate a double bed, creating a veritable cocoon. A shower, washbasin and separate WC complete the foudre for your comfort. You’ll also find a tea and coffee-making area, as well as a fridge and microwave.

 

Enjoy a glass of Burgundy wine on the terrace! You’ll find everything you need for a well-deserved break after a day of sightseeing.

What to do on your vacation at Toue des Demoiselles?

Our pretty vacation village of Toue des Demoiselles has all the amenities for a dream romantic break. Built on the banks of the Etang des Demoiselles, named after the dragonfly that sometimes wanders by in summer, relaxation is guaranteed. A spa with sauna and jacuzzi awaits you in our spa toue, as does the heated swimming pool.

Beyond the village gates, the Burgundy wine region, from which your foudre originates, awaits you. There are plenty of walks and tastings of excellent vintages! It’s the perfect themed weekend around our regional wine!
